Season’s greetings from all at DYCW. We hope that you’re in a festive mood.

We’re pleased that the Soul Mates Weekend 2012 publicity is here.
Please pass this on to the appropriate person in your church and consider sending a group this year as every year Soul Mates proves to be a spiritual and social highlight of the year for many people, both children and leaders.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE POSTERS SENT TO YOU IN THE POST PLEASE CONTACT US ASAP AND WE’LL MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM.

There are a couple of changes that we need to let you know about.

Firstly, due to an increase in the numbers that we have coming to the weekend, we have had to change venue.
Shankill Parish will host the worship celebrations over the weekend, as it can comfortably seat upwards of 800 people.
If you’re familiar with Lurgan, it’s the big church at the railway end.

Secondly, the price has had to go up this year, unfortunately.
All of our overheads have risen, meaning that we need to increase the price to break even.
We are confident however, that Soul Mates Weekend is still incredible value for money.

Finally, we have decided this year that we are going to support one charity over the weekend, Open Schools Worldwide.
One of their projects is called ‘School in a Bag’ which provides a teacher with all the resources needed to teach street children.
Our aim is to build as many schools as we can at Soul Mates.

DEPOSITS: £10/ €10 per person. (Sadly, this is non-refundable).
EARLY BOOKING CHILDREN’S COSTS: £32/ €36
NORMAL BOOKING CHILDREN’S COSTS: £35/ €40
EARLY BOOKING LEADER’S COSTS: £15/ €17
NORMAL BOOKING LEADER’S COSTS: £32/ €36
LEADER’S AGE REQUIREMENT: The main leader needs to be over 21 and the others over 18. We do allow 17 year old helpers, but for ratios, they need to be considered children, and therefore cannot be left to supervise children alone.
SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS INFORMATION: This information will be available from the DYCW website in the New Year, and also by e-mail or post. Groups can book these once their deposit has been received and their booking has been confirmed by DYCW. Spaces are limited, and will be allocated on a strictly first-come first-served basis.
